Manager - Manufacturing Quality Assurance for Axle Production Unit

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Preferred knowledge areas:
• Strong knowledge of gear manufacturing, Casting/ Forging machining, grinding, measurement & quality controls
• Strong working knowledge of Axle Assemblies, Differentials, TVD, Ca
• Understanding of heat treatment, distortion & dimensional stability impact
• Expertise in axle assembly processes, Torque chart with troubleshooting capability, Field concern diagnosis on Vehicle level Assy
• Knowledge of 7 QC tools, ISO 9001/IATF 16949, TPM, 5S, Lean (with implementation experience). Six Sigma Green/Yellow belt would be a plus
• Hands-on with measuring instruments, CMM, gauge calibration & standard room practices
• Exposure to SPC, MSA, Layout Inspection, DCP, DOE, PPAP, APQP for process control & improvement
• Knowledge of internal audit (planning, execution, closure) 
• Proficient in engineering drawings & GD&T
• Ability in defect analysis, RCA and CAPA implementation
• Awareness of innovation, continuous improvement & change management
• Exposure to global best practices & benchmarking
• Knowledge of low-cost automation & emerging technologies for quality / productivity improvement
• Working Knowledge on MS Office, Power BI
