Job Description
- 1. Goods Inward ManagementReceive incoming raw materials, bought-out items, packaging materials, and components.
- Verify quantity and quality against Purchase Orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Coordinate with purchase and production teams regarding shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and bin allocation of materials. (Advance Cooling Tower)
- 2. Inventory ControlMaintain accurate stock records for:
- PP Raw Material
- PU Chemicals
- Bought-out Components
- Packing Materials
- Finished Goods
- Monitor stock levels and reorder requirements.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Track slow-moving and non-moving inventory. (Advance Cooling Tower)
- 3. Goods Outward & Material IssueIssue materials to production against approved requirements.
- Maintain records of material consumption and stock movement.
- Ensure FIFO stock rotation where applicable.
- Monitor material returns and adjustments. (Advance Cooling Tower)
- 4. Challan Creation & DocumentationPrepare delivery challans for dispatches, job work, and stock transfers.
- Maintain records of inward challans, outward challans, GRNs, stock transfers, and dispatch documents.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit and traceability purposes. (eGyanKosh)
- 5. Dispatch ManagementCoordinate packing, loading, and dispatch of finished goods.
- Verify dispatch quantities against customer orders.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely deliveries.
- Maintain dispatch registers and proof-of-delivery records. (All About Logistics India)
- 6. MIS & ReportingPrepare weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Report stock shortages, excess inventory, and material variances.
- Track inward, outward, and closing stock positions.
