Housekeeping Staff

Job Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of assigned areas within the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for occupants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures across designated areas

Clean and sanitize washrooms, pantries, and common areas as per schedule

Empty and manage waste bins; ensure proper waste segregation and disposal

Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and workstations

Refill consumables (soap, tissue, hand sanitizer) in washrooms and pantries

Report maintenance issues (leakage, breakage, pest sightings) to supervisor

Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely as per training

Maintain daily cleaning logs/checklists as required

Support periodic deep-cleaning tasks (carpet cleaning, upholstery, high-dusting)

Follow safety protocols, especially when using chemicals or working at height
