Engagement Lead, Mandiant Consulting

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in a cross-functional project/program management, consulting or a client-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with project and engagement management in a consulting environment, within cybersecurity or IT industry.
• Experience working with project management methodologies and tools such as OpenAir etc,.
• Experience working with C level executives such as CISOs and the ability to set and manage expectations with executive stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, set expectations, and follow-through to completion with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

About the job

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. Security Consultants have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud services, corporate network environments and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.

As a Security Consultant, you could work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You may also test client networks, applications and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats, and will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide an in-depth understanding of the information security domain. You will also articulate and present complex concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors and successfully lead complex engagements alongside cross functional teams.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Mandiant consulting organization. You will help us drive exceptional project delivery, create valued and trusted partnerships, and support streamlined project delivery for growth and scalability. You will coordinate between clients and stakeholders, setting expectations for deliverables across teams, identify key roadblock, and work with the team members involved to keep projects moving. Additionally, you will establish rapport internally and externally, as they work with others to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and identify and deliver outcomes for several client facing projects.
• Drive end-to-end program management from planning/scoping, milestone, kickoff materials, governance frameworks, tracking end-to-end budgets and issue management through delivery.
• Build relationships and exert tactful influence in a complex organization with multiple cross-functional stakeholders. Identify work/process inefficiencies and drive repeatable solutions to reduce or eliminate inefficiencies.
• Plan and execute work in a way that builds trust across teams, connecting clients and internal teams, and making sure inter dependencies are understood and planned for. Identify and integrate multiple adjacent or interrelated client/stakeholder project timelines, goals, and objectives.
• Assist in preparation of Statement of Work (SOW), formal quotations, obtaining Purchase Order (PO).
