The Role

As a Civil Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc 

  • Develop and manage 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for civil and industrial projects.
  • Prepare Structural Steel / Concrete GA drawings, and reinforcement detailing. 
  • Experience in shop drawings and fabrication drawings will be added advantage. 
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design. 
  • Perform clash detection, model validation, and quality checks to maintain project integrity. 
  • Generate material take-offs (MTOs), BOQs, and reports from Tekla models. 
  • Ensure adherence to international codes and standards (IS, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, etc.). 
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within timelines. 
  • Provide technical support during fabrication and construction phases. 
  • Maintain and update project documentation and revision control.

About You 

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma/Certificate course in Drafting / Modeling.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures in civil/structural projects. 
  • Strong knowledge of steel structures, concrete structures, and rebar detailing. 
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration with other design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks). 
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 
  • Good communication and coordination skills. 
  • Experience working in reputed engineering, EPC, or construction companies. 
  • Preferred Attributes-
    • Exposure to international and Indian industrial projects. 
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
