Assistant General Manager - Finishing Works (Site Execution)

SECTION I: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role) 

The Engineer – Finishing (Site) is responsible for execution and monitoring of finishing works at site, including interiors, façade and external finishes. The role ensures quality workmanship, adherence to approved drawings and specifications, and timely completion of finishing activities. 

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Financial / Functional Perspective 

? Control material wastage and reduce rework 
? Support cost-effective execution of finishing works 
? Ensure work is executed within approved BOQs and budgets 
? Assist in measurement and billing for finishing activities 

Customer Perspective 

? Deliver high-quality finishes as per design intent 
? Coordinate with consultants and contractors for issue resolution 
? Support defect-free handover of finished areas 
? Enhance customer satisfaction through workmanship quality 

Internal Process Perspective 

? Execute and supervise finishing works including plastering, tiling, painting, façade and interiors 
? Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards 
? Coordinate with multiple subcontractors and agencies 
? Conduct site inspections and quality checks 
? Identify and resolve technical and execution issues 
? Maintain daily progress reports and site documentation 
? Ensure adherence to safety norms at site

KNOWLEDGE 

Minimum Qualifications 

• B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture 

Language Skills 

• English   

• National (Preferred)  

• Regional (Desirable) 

EXPERIENCE 

Years of Experience 

• 4–8 years in finishing works at construction sites 

Nature of  

Experience 

• Experience in site execution of interior finishes, façade systems, quality checks, contractor coordination and progress monitoring.
