Waiter / Steward/ Captain

We are hiring a professional Fine Dining Server / Waiter for our premium, standalone restaurant in Colaba, Mumbai. If you have a passion for high-end hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in a fast-paced luxury dining environment, we want you on our team.

Role Overview

• Position: Fine Dining Server / Waiter
• Location: Colaba, Mumbai
• Job Type: Full-time (Rotational shifts, week offs)

 Key Responsibilities

• Table Service: Deliver seamless fine dining service, including detailed menu explanations, wine pouring, and synchronized table clearance.
• Guest Hospitality: Warmly welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and provide expert recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
• Upselling & Recommendations: Actively promote daily specials, curated chef tasting menus, and premium wine pairings to enhance the guest experience and maximize average table spend.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure perfect table pacing, managing dietary restrictions and allergies with absolute precision.
• Restaurant Standards: Maintain immaculate table setups, process billing accurately via the POS system, and uphold strict hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of serving experience strictly in high-end standalone restaurants (no hotel experience required).
• Skills: Fluent in English with polished communication skills suitable for corporate clients, expats, and high-profile guests.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of fine dining etiquette, gastronomy, wines, and spirits.
• Operational Agility: Ability to handle high-volume shifts smoothly while multitasking and maintaining a calm, sophisticated demeanor under pressure.
• Logistics: Must be well-groomed, organized, and live within a reasonable commuting distance to Colaba for late-night shifts.
