Social Media Executive

You'll own That Sushi Place's day-to-day social media presence — and you'll be hands-on. This is not a desk-only job: you'll be in the kitchen shooting the food, behind the camera for reels, and in the comments talking to our community. If you love food, love creating content, and can't walk past a good-looking plate without photographing it, this is your job.

What you'll be doing

Content creation & shoots (the heart of the role):

• Plan and run weekly photo & video shoot days in our kitchen — shooting dishes, prep action, behind-the-scenes, and team moments on a provided setup
• Shoot short-form video (reels/stories) — including filming, basic trimming, and getting it post-ready
• Capture new menu items, combos, and seasonal specials as they launch
• Build and maintain our content library — organised, labelled, and ready to use

Publishing & channel management:

• Own the content calendar: schedule and publish posts, reels, and stories across Instagram (and other platforms as we grow)
• Write captions in TSP's cheeky, Mumbai-flavoured voice
• Jump on trends, trending audio, and moment-marketing opportunities fast — festivals, match nights, viral formats

Community & engagement:

• Reply to comments and DMs daily; keep our community warm and engaged
• Spot and reshare customer posts, stories, and reviews (UGC)
• Run story polls, Q&As, and interactive formats
• Coordinate with food bloggers/influencers for collabs and shoot visits

On-ground energy:

• Be comfortable on camera and getting others on camera — chefs, team, visiting creators
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to time shoots around fresh dishes
• Represent the brand at events, pop-ups, and activations when they happen

Tracking:

• Keep a simple weekly log of what we posted and how it performed (reach, saves, follows), and share what's working
• What we're looking for1 year of experience in social media for a brand — food & beverage experience is a big plus
• An outgoing, extroverted personality — you talk to people easily, on camera and off
• Confident shooting photos and videos on a smartphone; you'll be trained on our shoot setup, but you should already have an eye for a good frame
• Strong written English + Hinglish internet-speak; you get memes and you get Mumbai
• Organised and self-driven — you'll own the calendar, not wait for it
• Based in or able to commute to Goregaon West daily

Nice to have

• Experience with reels editing apps (CapCut/VN or similar)
• Familiarity with Swiggy/Zomato-side content or food-brand pages
• Your own food/lifestyle content (send us your handle!)
