Job Description
About the Role
We provide dedicated WordPress developers on a fixed monthly cost model to digital agencies across the US, UK, and other international markets. We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to drive outbound sales — identifying agencies that need reliable, cost-effective development support and converting them into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and identify target digital/marketing/web agencies across the US, UK, and other regions that outsource or need WordPress development support
• Execute outbound outreach via LinkedIn, cold email, and other channels to generate qualified leads
• Pitch our fixed monthly cost WordPress developer model — clearly communicating cost savings, flexibility, and reliability vs. hiring in-house or through freelancers
• Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools, tracking outreach, follow-ups, and deal stages
• Conduct discovery calls to understand agency needs (project volume, tech stack, team size) and position the right engagement model
• Coordinate with the delivery/tech team to align on developer availability and onboarding timelines for new clients
• Negotiate monthly retainer terms and close deals
• Maintain and nurture existing agency relationships for repeat business and referrals
• Meet monthly targets for outreach volume, qualified meetings, and closed deals
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation — ideally selling services/staffing to agencies in US/UK markets
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience selling outsourced development, staffing, or “dedicated resource” models is highly preferred (e.g., dedicated developer, white-label services, agency partnerships)
• Basic understanding of WordPress, web development workflows, or IT services (enough to speak credibly with agency owners/PMs)
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io (or similar), and a CRM (HubSpot/Zoho/Pipedrive)
• Experience with email sequencing tools (Lemlist, Instantly, or similar) is a plus
• Comfortable working a shift spanning UK and US business hours
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
