Assembly Fitter

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble machine parts and sub-assemblies as per drawings.
• Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, cutting, and grinding operations.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Check dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Measuring Tape.
• Assist in machine installation and testing.
• Report defects or issues during assembly to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S and safety practices in the work area.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Requirements

• ITI in Fitter Trade.
