Accountant

Company: The Baxsaa Co | Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai | Mon–Sat, 10am–7pm

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 5+ years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain books of accounts in Tally
• Handle invoicing, billing, expenses, payments, receipts, and outstanding accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank and vendor reconciliations
• Handle GST, TDS, and Professional Tax calculations and related compliance
• Prepare accounting and financial reports using Excel
• Maintain accurate financial, tax, and supporting documentation
• Follow up on customer collections and vendor payments
• Assist with month-end closing, audits, and other accounting requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Tally proficiency is mandatory
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS & Professional Tax
• Experience in bank and vendor reconciliation
• Average English skills for drafting professional emails
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
