Welder / Fitter

Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) in the 3G vertical position.

Perform TIG Welding (GTAW) in the 3G vertical position on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications.

Prepare materials, joints, and welding equipment before welding operations.

Ensure weld quality meets applicable standards and customer requirements.

Conduct visual inspection of completed welds and rectify defects when required.

Operate and maintain welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and related equipment.

Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area.

Coordinate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and fabrication teams to achieve production targets.
