Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading: Put goods, boxes, or parcels into the van and take them out at delivery stops.
- Delivering orders: Follow planned routes to bring items to homes or businesses.
- Verifying details: Check order sheets, scan barcodes, and collect customer signatures or payments.
- Vehicle upkeep: Keep the van clean and report any mechanical problems. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Requirements and Skills
- Valid license: A light motor vehicle (LMV) driving license if driving the van.
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift heavy or multiple packages.
- Navigation: Basic knowledge of local roads and GPS apps.
- Communication: Polite customer service skills.
