Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to support business operations, process improvements, training, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for assigned business processes and projects.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to internal teams.
• Analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
• Conduct training sessions and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and quality standards.
• Support audits, client interactions, and escalations as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
• 3–6 years of relevant experience as a Subject Matter Expert, Senior Executive, Team Lead, or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in process improvement and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of quality frameworks and operational excellence practices.
• Training and mentoring experience.
