Job Title: Restaurant Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Restaurant Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our restaurant in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. This role requires ownership of day-to-day restaurant operations, kitchen coordination, staff management, inventory control, online delivery platform management, and ensuring a consistently high customer experience.

The ideal candidate should be operationally strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both dine-in and food delivery business channels.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesRestaurant OperationsManage daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Supervise opening and closing activities and maintain operational discipline.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and prompt issue resolution.
  • Monitor restaurant performance and implement improvements.
  • Kitchen & Staff ManagementSupervise kitchen staff and restaurant team to maintain productivity and service quality.
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and shift planning.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain restaurant and kitchen staff.
  • Maintain team discipline and operational standards.
  • Inventory & Vendor ManagementManage kitchen inventory and restaurant inventory including stock planning and replenishment.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation and reduce wastage.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Track purchasing costs and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Hygiene & ComplianceEnsure restaurant and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
  • Maintain hygiene, food safety, and operational compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular checks for cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and process adherence.
  • Online Delivery & Menu ManagementManage restaurant presence across Swiggy and Zomato.
  • Handle menu updates, pricing, availability, and catalogue management.
  • Monitor and optimize discount campaigns and promotions.
  • Manage order flow and delivery operations to maintain service levels.
  • Reporting & ReconciliationDaily sales reconciliation and cash management.
  • Prepare operational reports and track key business metrics.
  • Monitor expenses and support profitability initiatives.
  • Requirements 3–6+ years of experience in restaurant operations / restaurant management.
  • Experience managing kitchen and restaurant teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Swiggy and Zomato merchant panels.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and vendor coordination.
  • Comfortable with hiring, staff management, and daily reporting.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • PreferredExperience in QSR, cloud kitchen, café, or casual dining operations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
