Job Summary

We are looking for a professional, guest-oriented, and proactive Restaurant Captain to oversee daily floor operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of restaurant service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Welcome guests, manage seating, and ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.
• Oversee order taking, food and beverage service, table management, and billing coordination.
• Lead and coordinate service staff, ensuring proper grooming, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate menu updates, specials, and service priorities.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and management teams for seamless operations.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across the restaurant.
• Promote suggestive selling and upselling to support sales targets.
• Monitor service equipment, minimize wastage, and ensure proper opening and closing procedures.
• Qualifications & Experience2–4 years of experience in restaurant or food and beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred.
• Good knowledge of restaurant service standards, menu presentation, and POS operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and guest-handling skills.
• Professional grooming, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
