The role is focused on project sales through architects, interior designers, builders, consultants and contractors rather than retail sales. This structure is commonly used in project-based lighting businesses. 

 

Job Description – Project Sales Executive (LED Lights & Fans)

 

Position: Project Sales Executive

 

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Store Manager / Business Head

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and target-oriented Project Sales Executive to drive sales for LED lighting and fan solutions through architects, interior designers, builders, MEP consultants, contractors, developers and corporate clients across Mumbai.

 

The candidate will be responsible for identifying projects, developing relationships with key stakeholders, generating enquiries, preparing proposals and converting opportunities into business.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

* Develop and manage business relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, consultants and contractors.

* Identify upcoming residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects.

* Generate new leads and convert them into sales opportunities.

* Conduct regular client meetings, presentations and site visits.

* Understand project requirements and recommend suitable lighting and fan solutions.

* Coordinate with internal teams for technical support, quotations and product specifications.

* Handle the complete sales cycle from enquiry to order closure.

* Follow up on quotations, negotiations and payment collections.

* Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.

* Participate in exhibitions, networking events and product launches.

* Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline and submit periodic reports.

 

Key Skills Required

 

* Strong B2B and project sales experience.

* Relationship management skills.

* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

* Negotiation and closing skills.

* Knowledge of lighting applications and electrical products.

* Ability to read architectural drawings (preferred).

* Good networking abilities.

* Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software.
