Job Overview

The Pizza Maker crafts high-quality, delicious pizzas according to company recipes and customer orders. This role requires working quickly in a hot, fast-paced environment, handling dough preparation from scratch, managing oven temperatures, and upholding strict food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Dough & Sauce Preparation: Measure, mix, knead, proof, and ball pizza dough; prepare fresh tomato, pesto, or specialty sauces.
• Order Assembly: Stretch dough, apply sauces, and layer cheeses, meats, and vegetables accurately to recipe specifications.
• Baking: Operate deck, conveyor, or wood-fired ovens, monitoring bake times and rotating pizzas for an even, golden crust.
• Prep & Inventory: Chop vegetables, slice meats, check stock levels, and help restock prep stations before and during service.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain clean counters, sanitize equipment, scrape and scrub ovens, and comply with local health and HACCP guidelines.
• Customer Service & Support: Need to speak with the customer for ratings

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or pizzeria preferred.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of dough fermentation, stretching techniques, and oven management.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, work in high-heat environments, and lift heavy items (such as 50-lb bags of flour or dough trays).
