Import Manager

Senior Manager – Imports | Mumbai

ROXCEL Trading India Pvt. Ltd., an international paper trading company, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Imports to manage end-to-end import operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complete import cycle from PO to customs clearance and delivery
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA and transporters
• Handle import documentation and customs procedures
• Monitor vessel schedules, ETA/ETD and shipment status
• Coordinate LC/TT, import payments and bank documentation with Finance
• Monitor landed cost, freight, duty, port charges, demurrage and detention
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain import MIS and shipment records
• Work closely with Trading, Sales, Finance and Logistics teams
• Resolve shipment/documentation issues independently
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of imported paper

Requirements:

• 8–15 years of experience in Import/International Trade/Logistics
• Strong knowledge of Indian Customs and import procedures
• Good knowledge of shipping documents, LC/TT and import payments
• Strong Excel/MIS skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in paper/pulp/commodity trading or similar industry preferred
• Mumbai-based candidates preferred.
