*Designation: HR Compliance Executive*

About the Role


We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized HR Compliance Executive with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support our HR Compliance function. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring adherence to statutory labour laws, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies. This role involves maintaining compliance records, supporting audits, managing documentation, and coordinating employee-related statutory processes.


*Key Responsibilities*

1. Statutory Compliance Support

Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws, including PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, Shops & Establishments Act, and other statutory regulations.

Support the preparation and submission of statutory returns, filings, and related documentation.

Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance documentation as mandated by law.


2. Documentation & Record Management

Maintain employee compliance records, including contract labour records, wage registers, attendance records, and statutory documentation.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

Update and maintain compliance trackers, databases, and dashboards regularly.


3. Vendor & Contract Labour Coordination

Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain required statutory documents and compliance records.

Assist in monitoring and verifying contractor compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.

Track licenses, registrations, certifications, and renewal schedules to ensure continuous compliance.


4. Audit & Inspection Support

Prepare and organize data, reports, and documentation required for internal and external compliance audits.

Provide support during labour department inspections and regulatory reviews.

Assist in tracking and closing audit observations, corrective actions, and compliance gaps.


5. Employee Compliance & Query Resolution

Support employees with queries related to statutory benefits such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and other compliance-related matters.

Assist in addressing compliance-related grievances and ensuring timely resolution.


6. Compliance Reporting & MIS

Generate periodic compliance reports, MIS, trackers, and dashboards using MS Excel.

Monitor non-compliance issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.

Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely reporting to management.

Required Skills & Competencies


*Technical Skills*

Basic understanding of labour laws, statutory compliances, and HR compliance processes.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, and advanced formulas.

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.


*Communication & Coordination Skills*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to draft professional, clear, and concise emails and reports.

Strong stakeholder management and follow-up skills to ensure timely task completion.

Good interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.


*Behavioural Competencies*

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and tools.

*Eligibility Criteria*

Education

Graduate in any discipline.

Preferred qualifications: B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc, Law, or equivalent degree.


*Experience*

1–2 years of experience in HR Compliance, Labour Law Compliance, Statutory Compliance, HR Operations, or a related field.

Candidates with relevant internship or trainee experience in HR Compliance may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Knowledge of labour law compliance frameworks and statutory regulations.

Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Proficiency in handling compliance records and reporting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment.
