Fire Marshal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Fire Marshal to oversee fire safety operations at client sites. The candidate will ensure that all fire protection and life safety systems—including fire alarm systems, fire doors, evacuation systems, ventilation systems, and hydrant systems (sprinkler & drencher)—are fully functional, regularly inspected, and compliant with safety standards.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Work at client site as per assigned shift schedule.
• Ensure all fire protection systems are operational and ready during emergencies.
• Monitor and maintain fire alarm systems, fire doors, evacuation systems, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of hydrant systems, including sprinkler systems and drencher systems.
• Identify and report system issues to the service team and management.
• Coordinate with service contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct regular site rounds as per agreed intervals.
• Identify, report, and track near-miss incidents.
• Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT) during fire or emergency situations.
• Conduct fire safety and evacuation training for client and facility teams.
• Respond immediately to fire alarms and operational calls; perform basic troubleshooting where possible.
• Ensure proper functioning of evacuation routes, exit signage, and emergency systems.
• Maintain proper documentation (log books, checklists, and reports) as per company/client standards.
• Monitor overall fire safety compliance and report hazards that may lead to fire incidents.
• Prepare detailed incident reports in case of fire or safety events.

🔥 Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor Fire Command Center (FCC) operations 24×7.
• Maintain fire alarm logbooks, event records, and isolation records.
• Coordinate with technicians for fault rectification.
• Escalate major issues to Fire Officer and management.
• Ensure FCC readiness during emergencies and mock drills.
• Remain stationed in the Fire Pump Room or assigned areas.
• Inspect and maintain fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, and alarm devices.
• Conduct building rounds to ensure fire exits and staircases are clear and unobstructed.
• Support third-party contractors during PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and testing activities.
• Report faults immediately and maintain inspection and maintenance records.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma in Fire & Safety (mandatory)
• Experience: 6 months to 1 years as fire Marshal.
