Educational Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

· Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities, courses, universities, and countries.

· Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, financial considerations, and preferences.

· Recommend suitable universities, courses, and destinations based on student profiles.

· Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, and available intakes.

· Assist students with the university application process and required documentation.

· Coordinate with universities and international education partners regarding applications and admissions.

· Follow up with students and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling and application journey.

· Guide students on SOPs, LORs, resumes, financial documents, and other application requirements.

· Coordinate with the visa team and provide students with relevant pre-visa guidance.

· Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and follow-ups in the CRM.

· Achieve individual and team counselling/admission targets.

· Stay updated on changes in university requirements, visa regulations, scholarships, and international education trends.

· Participate in seminars, education fairs, webinars, and student engagement activities when required.

· Doing tie up in with High School, Colleges & other Fresh Marketing Ideas for Abroad & Other Education

Candidate Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a relevant qualification in education, business, or international studies is preferred.

· 1–3 years of experience in overseas education counselling, student recruitment, admissions, or a related field.

· Good knowledge of popular study destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, MBBS (Overseas Destination) and Others

· Should have a decent Knowledge on IELTS, NEET, GRE, TOEFL & Other Relevant Courses

· Strong communication, interpersonal, counselling, and presentation skills.

· Ability to understand student requirements and provide appropriate guidance.

· Good follow-up, relationship-management, and organizational skills.

· Comfortable working with targets and deadlines.

· Basic knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office/Google Workspace.

Strong written and spoken English.
