Job Description
- Preparing the dental operatory before each patient.
- Sterilizing and arranging dental instruments.
- Assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and using suction.
- Taking and developing dental X-rays (where permitted and trained).
- Mixing dental materials such as impression material and cement.
- Preparing patients for treatment and explaining basic post-treatment instructions.
- Maintaining patient records and appointment schedules.
- Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms after each patient.
- Managing inventory of dental supplies and ordering materials when needed.
- Following infection control and sterilization protocols.
