Credit Control Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow up with customers for payments as per agreed credit terms and due dates.
2. Monitor outstanding receivables and assist in weekly ageing analysis and collection tracking.
3. Share customer statements, ageing reports, and pending invoice details as required.
4. Record customer payments accurately and ensure timely payment entry in the ERP/accounting system.
5. Identify payment deductions, short payments, debit notes, and discrepancies; coordinate with customers and internal teams for resolution.
6. Reconcile customer ledgers regularly and maintain supporting records for balances.
7. Coordinate with teams to resolve invoice, POD, rate, or documentation issues affecting collections.
8. Track unbilled or pending POD cases and support timely submission and follow-up of freight bills and related documents.
9. Maintain updated records of rate approvals, contracts, and customer correspondence relevant to reconciliation and collections.
10. Escalate long-pending outstanding items, unresolved disputes, or credit issues to seniors in a timely manner.
11. Assist in preparing MIS, ageing schedules, collection status reports, and customer balance confirmations when required.
12. Ensure proper filing, documentation, and audit readiness of credit control records.

Skills :

• Working knowledge of ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
• Understanding of customer ledger reconciliation, ageing, and collection processes.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in entries and reconciliations.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with customers and internal departments.
• Basic analytical and reporting capability.
