Job Description

Smartcom is looking for an experienced Computer Hardware Technician responsible for providing technical support to customers and implementing computer hardware and networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers.
  • Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Implement and troubleshoot basic computer networking.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and network-related issues.
  • Handle installation and configuration of printers, routers and related IT equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Computer Hardware Technician.
  • Practical experience in computer hardware support and networking.
  • Good troubleshooting and customer-support skills.
  • Knowledge of LAN cable crimping and punching is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of CCTV and related automation systems will be an added advantage.
