Civil Engineer

The candidate should have degree of (B.E./B-Tech) in Civil Engineering from the recognized University with Computer Knowledge in Auto CAD. OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years of civil Field experience (construction/Repair & Maintenance of Building) with computer knowledge in Auto Cad, etc. Experience in maintenance of High rise building and Tall structure will be preferred. Selection will be made on the basis of Technical Exam. or personal interview or both of the candidate by the Department as required.

DUTIES

To arrange procurement of material and its safe custody under his supervision. Maintain proper account of receipts, issues and balance.  To record measurements of works done by the contractor / departmentally.  To prepare abstract of measurements at the time of preparation of bills.  To submit progress report of works as may be required by his superiors and to bring to the notice of his Immediate superior’s hindrance to the execution of work. To maintain the prescribed registers / accounts like cement register, cube test register, Steel register, Materials field test registers if testing of fine aggregate etc., MAS, account, site order book, A/C of Temporary Advances, T&P account etc.  To prepare estimates for annual repair and special repair work and petty works after collecting data from Site.  To prepare estimates for additions and alterations in building and departmental quarters, to prepare Estimates also for construction of Lighthouse Stations & other related structures.  To give first aid and arrange medical aid in case of accident.
