- Main Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes or create new ones
- Menu Planning: Design menus, suggest new dishes, and update offerings based on trends or season
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff like cooks and helpers
- Quality Control: Ensure food taste, presentation, and portion sizes meet standards
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety regulations
- Cost Control: Manage food costs and stay within budget
