Job Description – BFSI Recruiter

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 1–3 Years

Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month

Industry: BFSI / Banking / NBFC

We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented BFSI Recruiter who can independently manage end-to-end sourcing activities for banking and financial services requirements.

The candidate should be comfortable with field sourcing, college visits, candidate data generation, job portals, and other recruitment channels to build a strong candidate pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates for various BFSI/Banking/NBFC positions based on business requirements.
• Independently create and maintain candidate databases through different sourcing methods.
• Visit colleges, institutes, placement cells, and other relevant locations to generate candidate data.
• Establish and maintain relationships with colleges and placement coordinators for regular candidate sourcing.
• Use job portals such as Naukri, Apna, Shine, LinkedIn, etc. to source relevant candidates.
• Explore and utilize WhatsApp groups, referrals, social media, job fairs, walk-ins, and other local sourcing channels.
• Conduct initial candidate screening based on qualification, experience, location, communication skills, and job requirements.
• Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview scheduling and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate records of profiles sourced, calls made, interviews, selections, and joining status.
• Work towards achieving daily/weekly/monthly recruitment and sourcing targets.
• Identify new and effective sourcing channels to improve candidate availability and hiring outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal recruiters and hiring managers to understand requirements and provide suitable profiles.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment / talent acquisition, preferably in BFSI, Banking, NBFC, Staffing, or related industries.
• Good understanding of candidate sourcing and screening.
• Hands-on experience with job portals and online sourcing.
• Willingness to undertake field visits for candidate and data generation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently build a candidate database from multiple sources.
• Target-oriented and proactive approach.
• Good follow-up and candidate relationship management skills.
• Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and recruitment trackers.
