Automotive Service Advisor

• Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
• Prepare job cards with accurate customer and vehicle details.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and explain service requirements to customers.
• Provide service estimates, repair costs, and expected delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians, the workshop manager, and the spare parts department.
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding vehicle repair progress.
• Ensure timely vehicle delivery and maintain service quality standards.
• Explain completed repairs, service charges, and future maintenance requirements.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow up with customers for feedback and maintain service records.
• Achieve service revenue, customer satisfaction, and productivity targets.
• Required SkillsGood communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic technical knowledge of automobiles.
• Ability to coordinate with workshop technicians and other departments.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Knowledge of job cards, service estimates, and billing procedures.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Qualification & ExperienceEducation: ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an automobile service workshop or dealership preferred.
• Preferred Candidates: Candidates with experience in customer service, vehicle servicing, and workshop operations.
