Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and expense allocations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial schedules.
• Perform and review bank, customer, vendor, payment, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse reconciliation differences and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Ensure revenue and expenses are recognized accurately in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and support timely collections and vendor payments.
• Monitor cash balances and assist with cash-flow reporting and forecasting.
• Support statutory accounting, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports for management as required.
