ITI Machine Repair Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for an ITI-qualified Machine Repair Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machines, including palm machines and bearing-related equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, machine assembly, and breakdown troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of palm machines and other production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in machines.
• Replace and fit bearings, shafts, gears, belts, and other machine components.
• Carry out machine alignment, lubrication, and routine inspections.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery as required.
• Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimum downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and report major issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines.

Requirements:

• ITI certificate in Fitter, Mechanical Maintenance, Machinist, Turner, or a related trade.
• 1–5 years of experience in machine maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of bearings, gear systems, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to use measuring tools and maintenance equipment.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings is preferred.
