Network (Support) Engineer

Position: IT & Low Voltage Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and understand drawing layouts and execute work as per the approved drawing.
• Perform Cat6/network cable laying, routing, dressing, and termination.
• Perform network punching, patch panel termination, and RJ45 crimping.
• Install and configure CCTV cameras, including cable laying and basic testing.
• Perform electrical wiring and related low-voltage electrical work.
• Install network racks, patch panels, cable managers, and other networking equipment.
• Install DB boxes and understand basic electrical/low-voltage connections.
• Handle structured cabling and low-voltage (ELV) work at project sites.
• Have basic knowledge of computer hardware, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
• Have basic knowledge of computer networking, LAN, switches, routers, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain proper cable dressing, labeling, termination, testing, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with the project team and complete assigned work within the required timeline.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at the work site.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read and understand technical/drawing layouts.
• Practical knowledge of Cat6 cabling, punching, crimping, and networking.
• Knowledge of CCTV installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and ELV/low-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of network rack installation and structured cabling.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
• Willingness to travel to customer/project sites as required.
• Good working attitude, discipline, and ability to work as part of a team.

Experience: 1–3 years in IT, networking, CCTV, electrical, structured cabling, or ELV work preferred.
