Deputy Manager - Sourcing and Vendor Management

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Vendor Management

- Development and commercial know-how of Engine Proprietary & Mechanical Proprietary Components like – Fuel Injection System, Engine Piston, Engine Valves, Oil Pump, Water Pump, Fuel Filters, Air Filters, Hydraulic Lash Adjuster (HLA), Brake System, Steering System, Battery, Bearings, Bearing Shell Complete Engine Assy, Air Cleaner, Hydraulic Valves, Pump etc

- Technically sound in manufacturing processes of mentioned commodities

- New projects Tooling/Capex estimation

- Capacity evaluation of suppliers

- Floating RFQ, Quote Synthesis, Technical Synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D

- Should have good knowledge of vendor database

2. Quality Improvement

-  Capable enough to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement

- Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements

- Co-ordination with SQA team for sample//APQP/PPAP closures

- Assessment for new suppliers

7-8 Years of experience

B.Tech (Mechanical preferred)
