Job Overview

Aayom Kitchens & Nirman Interiors is looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D/3D Interior Designer to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed 2D drawings, 3D interior designs, layouts, and realistic visualizations for residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, furniture layouts, and execution requirements, along with the ability to convert client requirements into practical and visually appealing designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings for interior projects.
• Develop 3D models and realistic renders for kitchens, wardrobes, living rooms, bedrooms, TV units, dining areas, and complete interiors.
• Design modular kitchens based on client requirements, available space, and functional needs.
• Prepare detailed designs for wardrobes, storage units, false ceilings, TV units, wall panels, and other interior elements.
• Convert concepts and client requirements into accurate and practical design solutions.
• Prepare material, colour, finish, and hardware selections for projects.
• Make design revisions based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the site engineer, project team, vendors, and contractors to ensure designs are executed correctly.
• Take and verify site measurements when required.
• Ensure drawings and designs are accurate and suitable for execution.
• Prepare design presentations and proposals for clients.
• Maintain project-wise design files, drawings, 3D models, and revisions.
• Assist the sales team during client meetings by presenting design concepts and explaining layouts.
• Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, finishes, hardware, and kitchen solutions.

Software Skills

Proficiency in relevant design software such as:

• AutoCAD
• 3ds Max / SketchUp
• V-Ray / Corona Renderer / Enscape
• Photoshop or similar graphic design software
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel preferred

Candidates proficient in other professional 2D/3D interior design software may also be considered.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design preferred.
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchen and interior furniture design.
• Good understanding of space planning, dimensions, materials, and finishes.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
• Good understanding of interior execution and construction methods.
• Strong visualization and creative design skills.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience
