URGENT HIRING – SHEET METAL DESIGN & PRODUCTION ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sheet Metal Design & Production Engineer to join our team.

Position

Mechanical Design Engineer – Sheet Metal & Hospital Furniture

Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Design and development of Sheet Metal products

✅ Preparation of 2D Manufacturing Drawings and 3D Models

✅ Experience in Hospital Furniture design preferred

✅ BOM preparation and production coordination

✅ Product development and design improvements

✅ Knowledge of fabrication, welding, bending and manufacturing processes

✅ Coordination with production and sales teams

Requirements:

✔ Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering

✔ Experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)

✔ Experience in Sheet Metal Design is mandatory

✔ Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and fabrication processes

✔ Good communication and problem-solving skills

Location

Mumbai / Mira Road (Update as required)

Experience

3–8 Years

Required Skills

* Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

* Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Design

* Experience in Stainless Steel (SS304/SS316) and MS Fabrication

* Preparation of Manufacturing & Fabrication Drawings

* Laser Cutting and Bending Drawings (DXF Files)

* BOM (Bill of Materials) Preparation

* Knowledge of Welding Processes (MIG, TIG, Arc Welding)

* Ability to coordinate with Production and Shop Floor Teams

* Quality Inspection and Project Execution Skills

* Problem-solving and Cost Optimization Abilities

Job Responsibilities

* Design and develop Sheet Metal products and assemblies

* Create detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings

* Support production teams during fabrication and assembly

* Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and customers

* Ensure quality standards and project timelines are maintained

* Prepare BOMs, production documents, and technical reports

* Improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce production costs

Qualifications
