Supply chain Management Lead

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Planning

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies.
• Plan material requirements based on business demand.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely material availability.

3. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory.
• Avoid stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Manage transportation, shipment, and delivery operations.
• Ensure timely movement of goods from manufacturing units to warehouses and customers.
• Optimize transportation costs and delivery routes.

5. Warehouse Management

• Oversee warehouse operations, storage, and material handling.
• Ensure proper stock tracking and documentation.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.

6. Team Management

• Lead and supervise procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews.

7. Cost Optimization

• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement and transportation costs.
• Improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare and monitor supply chain budgets.

8. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain reports.
• Track KPIs such as inventory turnover, order fulfilment, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve operational issues.
