Job Description

  • We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager for TGG Firehouse, a premium breakfast, brunch, grill, and steakhouse concept in Mangalore.
  • The candidate should be able to manage the complete daily operations of the restaurant, including front-of-house service, staff coordination, customer experience, reservations, billing, and shift performance.
  • The candidate should supervise waiters, servers, baristas, cashiers, housekeeping, and support staff to ensure smooth breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend, and peak-hour service.
  • The candidate should coordinate closely with the kitchen team to make sure orders move smoothly, service timing is maintained, and customer complaints are handled quickly.
  • The candidate should be confident in handling guest complaints, customer feedback, table management, reservations, billing issues, staff discipline, and daily reporting.
  • The candidate should maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, grooming, service quality, and overall restaurant presentation.
  • The candidate should track staff attendance, duty schedules, opening and closing checklists, daily sales, customer reviews, and operational issues.
  • The candidate should be professional, well-groomed, disciplined, confident, customer-friendly, and able to lead a team under pressure.
  • Experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing operations is preferred.
  • Postgraduate candidates are preferred, but strong restaurant or hospitality experience will be given priority.
  • Free meals, accommodation support if required, utilities, internet, and performance incentives will be provided.
