Alpha Trans is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Marketing & Sales Manager to lead business development activities at our Madurai Branch.

The ideal candidate must have compulsory experience in the Logistics / Transportation / Shipping / EXIM industry, with strong knowledge of container cargo bookings, vessel operations and port-related activities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business leads through direct client visits, calling and market development.
• Identify and develop new customers, exporters, importers and corporate accounts.
• Generate container cargo bookings from customers for the company.
• Have good knowledge of vessel schedules, port operations, container movements and cargo booking procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, transporters and internal operations teams.
• Achieve a monthly booking target of 100+ container orders.
• Ensure timely customer payment collections and maintain proper follow-ups.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and expand the company's business in the Madurai market.
• Submit regular marketing, sales, booking and collection performance reports to management.
• Eligibility & ExperienceCompulsory experience in the Logistics / Transportation / Shipping / EXIM industry.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales or business development.
• Good understanding of container cargo booking, vessel schedules and port operations.
• Strong client-handling, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to independently generate leads and convert them into confirmed business.
• Target-oriented approach with responsibility for sales growth and timely collections.
