Accounts Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities in our jewellery retail showroom. The role involves handling financial records, billing coordination, cash and bank transactions, and statutory compliance. Experience in retail or jewellery industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounts, vouchers, and ledger entries
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and stock-related entries
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records
• Reconcile bank statements and cash books
• Support GST-related documentation and filings
• Good Knowledge in TDS and GST reconcilation
• Coordinate with sales and billing teams for accurate accounting
• Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers, and financial documents
• Assist in monthly and year-end account closing
• Assit in Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/c

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounts (retail/jewellery preferred)
• Knowledge of Tally is a strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of GST and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in jewellery or retail industry
• Understanding of stock valuation and inventory accounting
• Good coordination and communication skills
