Role of a Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe SalesmanThe main role is to:

• Understand customer requirements
• Suggest suitable kitchen/wardrobe designs
• Explain materials, accessories, layouts, and pricing
• Convert inquiries into sales
• Coordinate with designers, production, and installation teams
• Maintain customer relationships
• Duties & ResponsibilitiesCustomer HandlingAttend walk-in customers and online inquiries
• Understand customer needs, budget, and space requirements
• Give product presentations and showroom tours
• Explain finishes, hardware, accessories, and layouts
• Sales & Business DevelopmentGenerate leads through calls, references, and social media
• Follow up with potential customers regularly
• Achieve monthly sales targets
• Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing
• Close sales professionally
• Design CoordinationCoordinate with kitchen/wardrobe designers
• Help customers choose:
• Colors
• Laminates
• Materials
• Accessories
• Layouts
• Schedule site visits and measurements
• Order ProcessingMaintain customer records and order details
• Coordinate with factory/vendors for production updates
• Track order status and installation timelines
• After-Sales SupportHandle customer complaints politely
• Coordinate service requests
• Ensure customer satisfaction after installation
• Showroom ResponsibilitiesKeep showroom clean and presentable
• Update display products and catalogs
• Maintain sample books and price lists
• Required SkillsGood communication skills
• Convincing and negotiation ability
• Basic knowledge of modular kitchens & wardrobes
• Interior/design sense
• Computer knowledge (Excel, WhatsApp, CRM)
• Customer dealing skills
• Follow-up and sales closing ability
• Preferred ExperienceFurniture/interior sales experience
• Knowledge of modular kitchen accessories and brands
• Basic understanding of measurements and layouts
