Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Steel Plant
Location: Punjab, Ludhiana
Industry: Steel Manufacturing
Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years
Qualification: ITI - Mechanical
CTC: ₹3.74 LPA (₹24,400/month take-home)
Position Type: Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ensure smooth operation of production machinery with minimum downtime.
- Follow maintenance schedules and plant safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial/plant mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in steel manufacturing plants preferred.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, lubrication systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
