Physiotherapist

A physiotherapist is a licensed healthcare professional who assesses, diagnoses, and treats physical impairments, injuries, and chronic conditions. Their primary goal is to restore mobility, manage pain, and improve the patient's quality of life through tailored movement and exercise programs, manual therapy, and patient education.

Core Responsibilities

• Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate a patient’s medical history, test their range of motion, strength, and reflexes, and establish a clear clinical diagnosis.
• Treatment Planning: Design customized therapy programs incorporating therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual manipulation, and electrotherapy.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Continuously track patient progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document clinical notes.
• Patient Education: Teach patients and their families about injury prevention, ergonomics, and safe at-home exercises.
• Collaboration: Work alongside doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide holistic, multidisciplinary care.
