Fabric Store Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge of fabrics, fabric types, and shade control.
• Check incoming fabric as per Purchase Order (PO).
• Maintain records of fabric received, issued, and available stock.
• Ensure proper in-house entry of all fabric movement.
• Manage fabric storage and maintain proper arrangement in the store.
• Monitor fabric consumption and stock availability.
• Ensure timely submission of fabric bills and related documents.
• Coordinate with purchase and production teams regarding fabric requirements.
• Computer knowledge and MS Excel proficiency are mandatory.
• Experience in fabric store management in the garment industry is preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good knowledge of fabric types, GSM, composition and fabric handling.
• Strong understanding of shade control and fabric quality parameters.
• Ability to track and manage fabric stock efficiently.
• Computer knowledge is mandatory, including MS Excel and inventory entries.
• Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Prior experience in garment or textile industry fabric stores will be preferred.
