Garment Manufacturing Supervisor / Production In-Charge

Role

We are looking for an experienced Garment Manufacturing Supervisor / Production In-Charge who can independently manage the end-to-end garment manufacturing process from raw material and cutting to stitching, finishing, quality, packing and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day factory operations and production.
• Plan production schedules and achieve daily/weekly targets.
• Manage cutting, stitching, finishing, QC and packing.
• Allocate manpower and machines according to production requirements.
• Hire, train and manage tailors, helpers, cutters, checkers and other factory staff.
• Have strong technical knowledge of garment construction, sewing machines, stitching processes, measurements and finishing.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and machine-related issues.
• Monitor production efficiency, wastage, rework and rejection.
• Maintain production records and provide daily updates to management.
• Ensure orders are completed on time and as per required quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience in garment manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production and factory operations.
• Experience managing workers and hiring production staff.
• Good knowledge of sewing machines and garment processes.
• Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for production tracking.
• Should be hands-on, responsible and capable of independently managing the factory.
