Civil Site Engineer

Position: Civil Engineer/Manager – (Construction)

Location: Site Based

Experience: 2–5 Years (Residential/House Construction)

We are looking for a dynamic, responsible, and experienced Construction Project Manager / Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of 5 to 6 residential projects (Houses/Villas) annually.

​The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between management and on-site execution, leading a team of supervisors and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and as per the highest quality standards.

​Key Responsibilities:

​Project Planning & Scheduling: Create detailed timelines and schedules for multiple residential sites and ensure milestones (Foundation, Structure, Finishing) are met on time.

Good site management and problem-solving skills

​Team & Contractor Management: Supervise and guide on-site supervisors/foremen. Coordinate with specialized contractors (Plumbers, Electricians, Painters, etc.) and labor teams to maintain workflow.

​Drawing Interpretation & Quality Control: Read and accurately interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Ensure construction strictly complies with drawings and quality standards.

​Material Procurement & Inventory Control: Estimate material requirements (Cement, Steel, Sand, aggregate, finishing items) well in advance. Monitor material consumption on-site to minimize wastage.

​Vendor & Bill Verification: Source quotations from local vendors, negotiate prices, and verify contractors' bills against actual work completed before forwarding to management for approval.

​Reporting: Maintain and share Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material logs, and expense trackers with the management.

​Requirements & Qualifications:

​Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

​Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience specifically in Residential Building / Villa construction.

​Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading structural drawings. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets or Task Management tools is highly preferred, Technical Points (Layout Marking, Center Line, Leveling, BOQ, Shuttering, RCC, Electrical & Plumbing Coordination).

​Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple sites simultaneously.

​Local Knowledge: Sound understanding of the local construction material market, labor rates, and vendors in Lucknow.

​Vehicle: Must own a two-wheeler for commuting between different site locations.
