Job Description
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the health insurance segment.
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, references, digital channels, and networking.
- Promote health insurance products to individuals, families, SMEs, corporates, and other eligible customer segments.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, corporate clients, channel partners, and referral sources.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable health insurance products.
- Explain policy benefits, coverage, exclusions, waiting periods, premiums, and claim procedures accurately.
- Follow up with prospective customers and support policy renewals.
- Address customer queries and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Maintain daily sales reports, lead records, customer databases, and pipeline updates.
- Prepare periodic business development reports and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, customer service, and policy issuance teams.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion ratios, renewal opportunities, and customer feedback.
