Job Title: Accountant & Office Administrator


Company: SUNROOF TECHNO COMMERCIAL PVT LTD

Location: LUCKNOW/ FATEHPUR

Reports to: Finance Manager / Director


About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, organised Accountant & Office Administrator to manage day-to-day accounting, GST/tax compliance and general office administration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tally, GST filing and tax compliance, excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to manage office operations and vendor relationships.


Key Responsibilities


    •    Maintain books of accounts using Tally (day-to-day bookkeeping, vouchers, ledgers)

    •    Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, trial balance and basic financial reports

    •    Manage GST compliance and filing (GSTR returns, reconciliations) and coordinate with tax consultants for statutory filings

    •    Handle TDS, payroll processing and PF/ESI compliance as required

    •    Prepare invoices, manage receivables and payables, and follow up with vendors/clients

    •    Assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and support external auditors

    •    Prepare Excel reports, analysis and dashboards; create presentations and proposals in PowerPoint

    •    Oversee office administration: vendor management, procurement of office supplies, and general facilities coordination

    •    Support management with ad-hoc finance and admin tasks, process improvements and documentation


Qualifications & Experience


    •    Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent

    •    2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and office administration (preferred 2–5 years)

    •    Proficient in Tally (preferred Tally Prime) and comfortable with accounting software

    •    Proven experience in GST filing, tax compliance and basic statutory knowledge (GST, TDS, income tax)

    •    Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and PowerPoint proficiency

    •    Good written and verbal communication skills

    •    Strong organisational and time-management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize

    •    Attention to detail, accuracy and integrity in handling financial data


Nice to Have


    •    Experience with other accounting/ERP software

    •    Familiarity with e-filing portals and GST reconciliation tools

    •    Prior experience preparing business proposals and client-facing documentation
