Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead school outreach initiatives. The role involves building strategic partnerships with schools, driving student acquisition, and achieving business growth targets through effective field engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- School Outreach & Partnerships
- Identify and connect with schools for collaboration opportunities
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and seminars with school authorities
- Lead Generation & Conversion
- Generate leads through on-ground activities and networking
- Convert prospects into enrolments through effective follow-ups
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school stakeholders
- Ensure long-term engagement and repeat collaborations
- Target Achievement
- Own and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Track performance metrics and optimize outreach strategies
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Ed-Tech sales / field sales
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with school authorities and stakeholders
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and result-oriented mindset
- Comfortable with fieldwork and managing end-to-end sales cycles
- Must own a bike for local travel
- Must have a laptop
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
