Job Description
- Site Surveys & Measuring: Visiting clients' properties to take highly precise measurements of windows, bays, and surrounding spaces to ensure a perfect custom fit.
- Installation: Fitting a wide range of window treatments, including:
- Blinds: Roller, Venetian, Vertical, Roman, and motorized/smart blinds.
- Curtains: Hanging and dressing various curtain styles, installing tracks, pelmet boxes, and decorative pole systems.
- Consultation & Advice: Advising customers on the best type of window coverings, fabrics, and hardware suited to their specific needs, aesthetics, and budget.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Troubleshooting, repairing, or adjusting existing window treatments that are jammed, misaligned, or damaged.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all installations meet child safety regulations (such as installing safety cleats and chain breakers for corded blinds).
- Stock & Tool Management: Managing inventory within a work vehicle and safely operating a variety of hand and power tools (drills, spirit levels, lasers, and wall fixings).
