TANDOOR COOK

We are looking for an experienced Tandoor Cook for a multi-cuisine restaurant.

• Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Reshmi Kabab, Hariyali Kabab, Malai Kabab, Paneer Tikka and other tandoor items.
• Prepare Naan, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti, Kulcha and other Indian breads.
• Handle marination and preparation of chicken, paneer and other ingredients.
• Maintain proper taste, portion size, presentation and quality for every order.
• Operate and maintain the tandoor safely and efficiently.
• Manage charcoal/heat levels during service.
• Ensure fast preparation during peak restaurant hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor section, utensils and working area.
• Minimize food wastage and follow proper storage practices.
• Coordinate with the Indian kitchen and other kitchen staff during service.
• Follow the restaurant's standard recipes and maintain consistent taste.

• Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience as a Tandoor Cook / Tandoor Chef in a restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of North Indian tandoor dishes and Indian breads.
• Must be comfortable handling both tandoor starters and breads.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service hours.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen discipline.
• Must be reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a kitchen team.
